Terms of Use
The terms on which you use Valtx. Stated plainly: what the service is, what it is not, and the responsibilities of those who use it.
Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Valtx, you agree to these terms. If you are using Valtx on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that company. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What Valtx is (and is not)
Valtx is an analytical decision-support tool. It runs recognised valuation methods on the figures you provide and triangulates them into a value, a range, and a confidence, with a full audit trail.
Valtx is not investment advice, financial advice, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or business. A Valtx output is not a signed, full-scope valuation opinion and is not a licensed appraisal or a regulated professional opinion, unless and until it is issued as an integrity-sealed report and stated to be such.
The AI assistant is part of Valtx and is decision-support only. It helps you run and interpret valuations using the engine and does not itself compute or certify a value; any figure it surfaces is subject to the same disclaimer and should be confirmed in a formal run or issued report.
No reliance
A Valtx output reflects the figures and assumptions you enter and the methods the evidence supports. It is a starting point for your own judgement, not a substitute for it. You should not rely on a Valtx output as the sole basis for any transaction, financing, reporting, or other decision, and you remain responsible for obtaining independent professional advice where it is needed.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawful use of the figures and files you provide, and for having the right to submit them. Valtx reads and checks what you enter but does not independently verify or audit your underlying information.
You agree to use Valtx only for lawful purposes, to keep your account credentials secure, and not to attempt to circumvent access controls or to use the service in a way that disrupts it for others.
Limitation of liability
Valtx is provided on an as-is basis during the pilot stage. To the extent permitted by law, Valtx and its team are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of an output, or for indirect or consequential loss. A full limitation-of-liability clause will be set out in the final terms issued before public launch (placeholder).
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the platform develops. Where a change is material, we will make the updated terms available before they take effect. Continued use of Valtx after a change means you accept the updated terms.
